2014. Yang Zhou. ASM General Meeting Young Investigator; Travel Award. For the first time her data revealed the impact of antibiotic administration routes on gut microbiota in a food animal-poultry.

2014 ASM General Meeting Young Investigator ( Ying Huang). Her findings on antibiotic resistance ecology in a domestic aquaculture production farm without antibiotic application illustrated the complexity of the AR problem, and the need to science-based targeted controls.

2013. Lu Zhang. His groundbreaking study revealed oral antibiotic administration as a key risk factor in resistance development. The discovery was treated by American Society for Microbiology (ASM) with a Press Release on 6/26/2013; his paper in Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy was highlighted in the 2013 July issue of the ASM official magazine Microbe, and featured as the #1 news in the ASM weekly news digest issue #682, cited by scientific and public media worldwide. He has published multiple papers and book chapters.
