About CMIB

Education

The CMIB has appointed Dr Robert Munson as the Associate Director for Education. Dr Munson will coordinate all education related matters (current curriculum, initiating new classes, etc). The CMIB has developed educational initiatives through the Integrated Biomedical Science Graduate Program (IBGP) and plays a leadership role in the new microbial pathogenesis emphasis area in the IBGP.  This area will allow graduate students to further explore host-pathogen interactions. Dr. Schlesinger is the faculty liaison to the IBGP. As one component of this new microbial pathogenesis area, the weekly CMIB work in progress discussion group meeting has been converted to a 1 credit hour course for graduate students entitled: Microbial-Host Interactions: Research Seminar, IBGP-795.
